Had a commercial metal door installed recently. It came with a metal frame (three sides) and seems sturdy enough. The frame itself was installed with nice long screws into the surrounding wood. My question is, do I worry about putting in long screws for the striker plate(s) and hinges? If the frame was wood I'd do it no trouble, but I'm not sure if it's needed with a metal frame.
