Garage epoxy flooring - Advertising question

I own a garage epoxy flooring business. With my current margins I find that I only need 4 to 6 jobs per month to bring in the revenue that I would like to bring in. Currently to attract business I have tried Craigslist, yard signs, Google adwords, networking and word of mouth. Being a small business with low overhead I obviously don't have a lot of money to spend on business development. Can any of you suggest some methods that may be helpful in reaching my goal of 4-6 epoxy jobs monthly? Thanks so much!

Word of mouth is your best bet. Other than Houzz ( which I use for my closets primarily) I dont advertise at all. I'm busier than I can handle. People always come over to see what I'm doing when I'm out on a job. The branded trailer, and lawn sign help too.

IF your prices are fair, and you do good work, people will show off the floors and sell it for you! Also talk to some interior designers, or real estate agents. They'll help out too, but expect to pay them a commission. Since you only pay when you get work, its a worthwhile investment.

I personally think there is too much emphasis put on web advertising. In my area there are a lot of people who do it, and I would surmise its a lot of people shopping on price when they call.

One thing that works well for some of our dealers / installers is to have a small yard sign in the yard referring the 'new garage floor installation' and you can also do door hangars in a nieghborhood you just installed a floor in, mentioning you just did thier nieghbors or something like that - your vehicle is also a great billboard

Good luck and much success

Do good work, create good contacts and word of mouth will eventually bring you more work.

Thank you for all of your feedback. Very good advice! I have been in contact with Zane from Turning Point Innovations ( local supplier / see his post above ) and it sounds like we may be able to work together. I was also contacted via private message from another supplier who may be of assistance in helping me to find some local work. This is a great forum. I'm new here but I can tell that this is a very caring community.
