garage fan?

I have old furnace fan , mounted on wheels , a screen to cover fan & etc. to use in my garage , the other day it tipped over & the motor hit the floor .It will not run now [I have checked the wiring hook ups they are tight]. Anything else I can do before buying a new motor??? Thank You.....

Check the start capacitor connections. I have this same thing in my garage and a couple of times the start capacitor wires have vibrated off.

It might be cheaper to junk it and get a new one that actually works.
