Hello guys, I hope you're doing well.
I think about purchasing a tower ventilator for my garage. It's a little bit wet and warm there. What can you recommend to me?
I don't consider buying a dehumidifier

If that tower ventilator uses water to get the cooling effect and your in a humid climate it’s not going to work very well. I’m in Texas and use a swamp cooler, evaporative cooler, and it works really well in the early months but when summer comes on and the relative humidity rises it’s not as effective.

Hey guys! You didn't understand me. I'm looking for something like this: https://houseweather.org/best-tower-fan/ I made a mistake, it's called a fan, not a ventilator, sorry for mixing up. Still looking for advice, my budget is $100 and I need a reliable and durable model, thanks.

$100 for a fan? We have one that we use in our living room during the summer, don't know what brand it is. But I'm sure my wife didn't pay much more than $20 for it. Works fine. If you google "tower fan" you can see fans ranging from $22 to $60. I don't think there is any "Cadillac" fan. Just go to your local wally world and buy what's there, but they might not have them in stock until warm weather arrives. So order from online. They won't do anything about the humidity.

For the garage I have an furnace blower. Moves a ton of air, is quiet, and best of all free.

Gotta Luv a reliable free air mover. You could add a filter to cut down on dust & pollen. Just cobble together a frame to hold the filter in place.

We have two of the tall vertical Lasko fans from Sams. Both work well and have been in use a long time - years. One is in the shop and I use it regularly.

>All tower fans I have seen are gimmicky cheaply made and ineffective.
Not my experience with he Lasko brand fans.
