Guess its time to call it complete. Started this 40x30 last July. My 15 yr old son and I did all the work except for hanging the trusses and roof shingles. I did all the wiring.

Used Epoxy-Coat on the floor. Looks great & spills clean up super easy.

I orgininally had a 10 foot ceiling with attic trusses, then decided to modify 7 of the trusses to give me 12 foot clearance for lift. I had the truss company engineer the mod for me and supply signed off plans. Cost $100, well worth it.

Last "tool" I bought was Bendpak XPR-10ACX lift. This thing is sweet, oil changes are now a pleasure. I waited 37 years to get a lift, and its finally here. Jeff at Bendpak was beyond great, really helpful. I highly recommend !

Learned lots on this forum, thanks to all.

That is real nice.
I like the way the outside dosn't give away the inside.
It would pass at any HOA approval meeting.

its a Factory Five Mk4 Roadster. Just got the front suspension hung, and prepped the rear end. Brake parts are here and will go on next.
Its a great, fun project.

Looks excellent. I impressed that you did it yourself. I would never get it done fast enough. I just finished mine. I did do some of the finishing work on the inside, pegboard, hanging cabinets, etc. I need to decide how to cover the floor now.
