Hello all. Looking for the best way to keep my shop clean. I have a virgin concrete slab that has been abused with heavy auto repair use. It has several oil, coolant and brake fluid stains. My first order of business is to clean and seal the floor. But Im looking for suggestions on keeping it clean. Right now I am using the kitty litter stuff and hate it! makes a mess, creates dust, and gets everywhere. What are other alternatives for complete and spot cleaning? what works best for you guys?

I use pig mats under anything I work on.
Spraying rusty bolts with WD40... pig mat
Draining oil doing brakes always pig mats
Special gray roll of like heavy paper towel. Try to never get anything on the floor to start.
If I do spill I use pig mats to soak it up right away then I no it's not good but a shot of brake clean and wipe clean

For the immediate need...
Purple power, simple green, pour n restore.

Long term...
Get yourself a nice epoxy or polyurea floor coating and the only thing you will need is a roll of paper towels for spills.

I've looked into and used PIG mats before, They are great, but expensive! was hoping for a cheaper alternative. also i dont think epoxy will hold up under the heavy duty use i put my garage under. So ive decided to go with just sealing

Hi, take a look at our SPGX one part Polyurea/polyaspartic coating. Incredibly resistant to all kinds of fluids and such.
