Garage floor finish

So question concrete guys asks what kind of finish on concrete?
hand trowel or machine ?

He recommends machine trowel but it would be slippery
Then he would follow it up with a and trowel to give it so texture and It will be best of both worlds. 30 x 40 floor NO pitch radiant heat more of a work shop then HD auto garage.

Any thoughts or other options?

I’m not sure about the whole ‘best of both worlds’ thing. You definitely want your floor power floated and troweled. I’d want a hard troweled or burnished finish, which provides a dense, smooth surface. I wouldn’t be too concerned about the floor being slippery.

Finishers sometimes try to sell a hand troweled finish because it gets them out of there sooner. You have a big floor there and i’d be concerned that they wouldn’t put in the work necessary to get a good finish. An anti slip texture left by hand troweling sounds more like a half assed job to me.

It’s a beach to break the surface, but it is a good flat, strong floor.
