Garage floor question

Hello all,

This is a new construction home and while I was out an unnamed family member tried to clean an oil stain off of my garage floor. the atatched picture is what it looks like now.

Is this an issue? Do I need to get it sealed? the rest of the garage floor is smooth except for this spot. I dripped some water on top and it still beads though.

Thank you all,

AJ

Hi,
It's not an issue unless you plan on coating it, concrete can handle oil. If so we would recommend spit priming with something like our Oil Stop Primer.

I appreciate the answer. I though we had done screwed up our new garage floor.
