Garage Floor Recommedations

I built my house in 2015 and used that stupid cheap garage floor epoxy. Its basically peeled up everywhere and worn down to concrete in all the high traffic areas. Our garage is basically the entry way to our house and is more of a living room with a car and motorcycles in it then a workshop. In the winter nothing comes in or out. I want to do some kind of floor that will make it an extension of the house, I don't even like shoes on in my garage. Im in Canada and cant seem to find anything that fits the bill. I dont like the look of that open racedeck style tile and that seems to be suited for more vehicle traffic. The garage is heated, it has an insulated slab and is only used for my car and 2 motorcycles. Does anyone have any ideas ? I live in Alberta Canada.

This LVT is approved for garages and is getting more and more attention. It's a bit spendy, but it looks nice and is durable. Plus, they're a Canadian company.

Shea might have the anwer. That said, an older guy told me many years ago that he'd done several of his g floors over the years black and white 'linoleum' tiles with very good luck (he collected Corvettes form the '50s and '60s). I saw his G a couple of times and was impressed (this was in far Nor Cal). Not sure what he stuck them down with tho.

In my garage, I have several “non-vehicle” areas, maybe 1000sq/ft total that is finished with 12x12 CVT. These areas have held up well over the last 16 years and looked good provided I did a thorough cleaning yearly. When I recently redid the car section, I thought about CVT, but with all the moving of vehicles around that I do, CVT was certain to have black tire marks all over in short order.

Sounds like the composite tile referenced above might be a solution.

Take a look at our www.supratile.com solid industrial grade PVC interlocking tiles. Great for garages, sold construction. We have our Design Series which mimic the look of stone or wood and can handle garage usage.
