Garage Flooring Advice

Good Afternoon:
I am looking for some expert advice from people who have experience with race deck versus tuff seal tiles. I have read all the threads including the ones on this forum and was ready to go with race deck until I viewed this video on you tube:
,
I live in Florida so I don't have to worry about snow or salt just rain, dirt and sand. I have two cars that will be going in and out of the garage on a daily basis. I do my own maintenance and change my own oil using metal ramps.

I am building my retirement home and want to get the garage floor done right. I am concerned about the crunching noise the race deck tiles make when dirt gets under them, which I have read about this in other blogs.

I am also concerned about the cost of the tuff seal tiles, but as I stated earlier, I want to do it right.

So in closing, any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully;
Mark K.

The tiles are hard plastic sitting on concrete, so there is a tapping sound when you walk on them. Kind of like a woman's high heels on a wood floor. It certainly doesn't bother me, and I haven't had the floor in long enough to get dirt under the tiles, so I can't help with the crunching sound. Noise is odd - what really bothers one person isn't even noticed by another.

My racedeck freeflow does "crunch" a bit when I get heavy buildup of road salt/dirt under it. But it's easily resolved with a decent shop vac. My experience has been that a good spring cleaning is needed to get the **** up from under the tiles. With freeflow tiles it's a pretty easy thing to do. With the solid tiles I don't know.

Best advice -- simple search for "racedeck" in title only in this forum; everything you would ever want to know has been asked/answered many times. Then do the same thing for "tuff seal."
