Wondering if anyone would know of a good flooring option available in Canada to apply to a cement garage floor for sealing and protection against salt and water in winter? I was ready to copy my neighbors' idea of a professionally sprayed coloured expoxy with colour flakes in it until he mentioned it becomes "like a skating rink" in the winter when wet, particularly if he has any snow stuck to the bottom of his shoes/boots. I know there is a grit in the mixture to make it less slippery but apparently it doesn't work that well.
Does anyone have experience with the sheet diamond pattern flooring that can be un-rolled and form a continuous wall-to-wall barrier. Both our vehicles are parked in this un-heated garage in winter and there is quite a bit of melted snow and water on the floor at times hence my hesitation in going the expoxy route. Any ideas, product names and source location would be greatly appreciated here as I am just about finished detailing my garage except for this last flooring option. I might add that I need to be able to source the product in Canada or have it delivered here. Thanks, B Hanley, Barrie Ontario Canada

I put down cheap, white, kitchen grade, 12 foot wide sheet goods.
Mostly to get a white floor, but also to protect the concrete.

I use strips of curb side picked up carpet in the winter to soak up the slop.
(I have gone to carpet stores for their takeouts when I don't find any at the curb.)
It is usually cut into 3 foot wide strips, which is perfect.
When it gets full it goes into the trash and is replaced.
That is 2, sometimes 3, times a winter.

I put down the sheet goods expecting it to be replaced in time.
But after 5 years it is still doing fine.
