Garage Half Done - Time To Complete

Okay - I had a very successful start to my garage floor epoxy project but due to circumstances beyond my control had to leave it for a couple weeks.

The Quikrete 2-part went down great and with flakes on top. I bought extra to get a better coating on it. I have the uncoated side of my garage with stuff still in it but was planning to park a u-haul out front for the two to three days it will take me to finish this job. I have to prep the one side of the garage to finish up. My concern is when I lap the new epoxy to the old epoxy do I need to worry about bonding? Advice here would be appreciated. Also once I get the next epoxy down I want to put a top coat on the entire floor. I'm debating between the one-part quikrete high gloss sealer and buying new kits of the clear 2-part epoxy and running over the top. The half of the garage that is epoxied stops about 1" short of the center seam because I have yet to fill and level it as I did the first half of the garage. Looking for some thoughts here. Do I need to put some primer or other bonding agent where I'm going to lap the new epoxy over the old?

Thanks so much,
Scott
