I put my house up for sale and during the home inspection for the buyer, the inspector discovered a 2 1/2" sag in the center above the garage door. I have a finished 2nd floor in the garage used as an office. I have researched and found this issue is not uncommon and fixable. Does anyone have any experience with Lintel lift system? I have determined that a replacement garage header is the best course of action and wondered whether the Lentil lift system is the way to go or to simply replace the header.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum from the shore of San Diego Bay, regretfully I have no experience with Sagging Garage Door Headers; it may be time to look for an experienced contractor or a Professional Engineer.
