Any thoughts on how to heat a 5 car garage. Original 24x24 with 30x24 added on back with 1/2 the wall between removed for drive thru. any thoughts on Modine Hot Dawg horizontal heater to split both rooms.

I would say split them with a moving wall (Door) and then heat the part you want. It would be much cheaper and easier.

I like the celing hung IR units.
Do your math on eletric vs gas based on how long you are going to have it on.

I recommend using this free tool to first determine how much heat you need.

Once you know how much heat you need, I recommend independent units for each space. This could save you money, as you are only heating the space you are working in. The Hot Dawg also comes in 2 stage. You could have 2 heaters, each with 2 stages, giving you 4 stages of heating total. Good luck.
