I built a 40 x 60 garage. I spray foamed insulation on the walls and blew insulation in the ceiling. I’m looking to put a heater in the garage. I was thinking of a propane heater mounted on the wall. When I’m not using the garage I may turn the heater off or turn it down to 55 degrees.

What is a good brand Propane heater?
How big does the heat system need to be?
Is putting it on the wall a good idea?

Thank you for your ideas

We have a propane heater in our basement as a back up to the central HVAC system when there is elect. power failure. No electric required to operate being the thermopile produces electric power for the gas valve and thermostat. I'd never build anything that required heat without a wall furnace. They're better than backing up to a wood stove because SeniorCitizen doesn't have to cut wood for it.
