Garage Heater Horizontal Venting

I have just purchased a 75,000 btu overhead garage heater with powered exhaust blower. I would like to take this out horizontally, but due to the overhanging soffits I would have to extend this out pass the soffit 12" - 18".
I was curious if anyone has had any expierence with this or if I did go out past the soffit bt 12" I was thinking of putting a 90 in and going up vertically 24"-30" with the vent line and add a cap. I'm trying to avoid cutting a hole in the ceiling and roof of my newly finished garage. Looking for any words of wisdom and/or expierence.

I would think it would look better it you just went up thru the ceiling and roof.
its not that big of deal cutting in a vent.

I assume natural gas? I just went through the wall with an all metal dryer vent setup. Works fine hasn't melted the vinyl siding yet. About 8' off the floor 4' below the eaves flush with the wall. Thanx Trevor

If you go out horizontal, your going to need grade on the pipe. Quarter inch per foot and you'll need at least 1 inch clearense around the pipe when you got thru the sheetrock/sideing
