Got a Big Maxx 125K heater and am going to vent it horizontally. From what I read, I need to use ss vent. Do I need to put a drain section in. The vent run is going to be short and the flue gas is very hot. I can't see any condensation forming in the pipe. Only water I would expect is from rain snow getting in at the exit. Just held the pipe up to the heater and it gets so hot you can't hold it. Going to measure it. I think I am going to move the heater to make a longer vent so I can extract some heat from it before it goes out the wall. Any suggestions.
