Dura Heat 10,000 Watt heater
I'm 99.9% sure I've seen someone on here post about this heater. I just bought it and was wondering if anyone remembered seeing someone else post about it or maybe has one. Wondering how it effects your electric bill. It seems like all the reviews talk about how great it works and how much everyone really likes them, but nothing about efficiency or extra cost on bills.

You need to consider 1) what you pay for electricity on a kilowatt-hour basis (it should be on your power bill), and 2) how often you'll use the heater.

As an example, if you pay 15 cents per kilowatt-hour, and you use the heater for 1 hour:
15 cents/kilowatt-hour x 10 kilowatts x 1 hour = $1.50.

I posted about it a little while ago. I decided to go with a propane salamander heater instead. The main reason I went that route was because I plan on listing the house for sale in the spring, so I can take the salamander with me plus it is portable.
