As much as I hate to say it, it's probably better off with the small block instead of the 390. Although a nicely stroked 351W with 427 cubes would be quite nice.

You could have easily put sbf in there for all but the same cost as sbc. Its a classic ford it deserves a ford motor.

I bought that engine from a friend who had it in a c2500 municipal truck. Only has 53K miles and he gave it to me in exchange for an 18v dewalt drill
set I bought for $100. It's a 4-bolt main motor and even with all the parts (intake, carb, distr, wires, exhaust manif, etc) I bought for the engine i have about $800. invested. I sold the FE390 with a C6 transmission for $975. so I actually made money putting the sbc in there. I looked for a 5.0 ford but couldn't score one at the time for a reasonable price. I get your sentiment though, it is a ford.

It's a pro-lift by direct lift. First thing I bought for the new garage. I love it, works really well and it's nice getting the bikes up in the air instead of getting down on the floor to work on stuff. I paid about $750. for it so it wasn't very expensive.

Those pumps were pretty rough when I bought them but I refurbished both of them. I work at a sign shop so that saved me some money (on paint and some signage). Here are some before and after pics. They're both late 1950's pumps.

Congrats on making it to 100%. I too reached 100% on my garage this year... about 6 times!!!! :)

Somebody already said this but I must agree. Yard, Truck and shop all look first rate!!
Very very American. You'd never see a set up like that anywhere else in the world. But here... it looks classic!

Shop looks awesome!! I'm so jealous since i am stuck using our 3rd stall at my house. All you need is a nice flat screen tv and you never have to leave.

I dig the detached garage! You never need to be quite i'm sure the neighbors can't hear you with all that separation, here in So Cal the land is expensive and space like yours would be really pricey out here, I’m a blue collar guy! So I have 1000’ square foot garage however when the evening rolls around I need to be quite no grinding or hammering. I really like the truck if you have another thread about the truck please show the link! I have also included pics of my F-1 project and if you have any suggestion on my truck build it would be great to know the do’s and don’ts kind of stuff. Again thanks for all the great pics! You really have an AWSOME MAN CAVE!

Yup really know how to make a guy jealous, a " complete " garage and a well sorted truck with paint and everything. Nice job on all of it. Congrats.

Thanks Hugo, the garage is always changing and stuff comes and goes (the '51 was sold and I replaced it with a '31 Coupe, see pic) but I use the place every day as a garage, shop, and man cave.
