If you are expecting sympathy, well... Just join the line. I'm doing a cooling system overhaul/new radiator in the drive tomorrow.

Ya'll got your priorities all wrong. Take all the money your putting into auto repairs and get a bigger garage! Brakes, Really who needs brakes?

JK. I feel your pain. Most of my work happens out back in the dirt and mud.

Not having brakes is fine. Just make sure that you upgrade the volume on the HORN

im not looking for any sympathy, just needed to vent, but damn i bought a house with a garage so i can work on stuff but my truck is in the way.

the garage isn't full it's just TOO SMALL!

yah i have said that to the wife a few times and she tells me to sell stuff.

the bad thing about doing my breaks tonight was that i found out that i need new calipers. that will be a new repair that i haven't done. hell if i can swap a motor i should be able to do some calipers.

Fulllllll. I do most oil changes in the driveway rather than move vehicles around.

Wait, she said that? OK, sell her stuff and that may make more room! :shocking:

Garage might be full (in my case barn), but I don't have a hoist outside, so I will move **** around until I can get the car in there and pick it up. If I don't have to lay on the floor, I sure as hell am not going to.

There's a house I go by frequently, 4+ stall garage, guy works on cars under a tent in the driveway because his garage is full of ****!!!

It's fine to have a garage full of projects, but make sure that the majority of it is not just plain old ****.

My garage is for non running ( projects ) . The driveway is where all Running vehicles get repaired ( unless of course they become non running ) . Then of course they get put in line for the garage :D. I told SWMBO when she moved in if your car is running it goes outside if you blow it up it can go inside .

I laugh at the poor schmucks that pack their garages full of house junk and have to park outside. Rest assured that my 3 wide garage has 4 vehicles side by side stuffed in it! And yes, the 2 outer ones can be hopped in and driven out without to much contortion.

Why are you guys talking about brakes? I thought the OP was talking about taking breaks with his car outside...most people here at work take Breaks outside.
