Every once in awhile (for several hours yesterday for instance) but usually in the wee hours of the morning, I'm unable to open this site and forum...? Just wondering if it's shut down periodically for service or what?

I got an account message when I tried to open the home page yesterday. I was on a computer at work at the time. But I was able to open it up on my phone. Not sure what that was about.

There's a definite problem with the host's DNS records.
The TTL for garagejournal.com is set to a ridiculously low value and their DNS sever cannot keep up. This causes the upstream DNS servers (your ISP) to give up trying for a while.
To the user it looks like the site is down. It's been really bad the last few weeks.
