Attached are a couple drawings of my garage. With it being such an odd shape, I'm having difficulty arranging it into a usefull space. Part of the problem right now is that I have too much junk in it. I have 4 arcade machines that should be leaving shortly and a 47 Willys project that I will move out to the side yard. The third (long) bay should then be empty to use for a work shop. The two right bays will house my wife's Commander and my CJ-7.

How would you arrange this oddly shaped garage for the best use of space and convenience?

Getting rid of arcade machines...noooooooo! (where are you located by the way)

I would have set up the arcade in the far back of the left bay, made the workshop the middle 1/3 of that bay and had a 3-car garage left over. Then again it looks huge compared to my 22x24 with 2 cars, 2 motorcycles, bikes and a workbench...

Are you planning on leaving the Willys outside? Why not park it at the deep end of the left side, giving you access to work on it. Workshop in the center third, close to your project, and for normal maintenance projects in the two right stalls. And front left (by the door) an arcade with a couple comfy chairs and a TV to watch races, etc, and park in the two right stalls? You may not have room for 4 arcade games, but save one or two for fun. I can't go back to look at you drawings, but where do you store all the yard stuff. If it goes in the garage, could it also go near the Willys? or outside shed.

To clarify, out of the 4 arcade machines I have in the garage, only one works. The other 3 are projects in various states of disrepair. I have a game room in the house, so the working ones don't need to live in the garage.
I was planning to leave the Willys outside until I'm ready to work on it (future project) and then drag pieces inside as I'm ready to work on them.
The yard stuff storage is undecided right now. I'm thinking of getting one of those small tool sheds for the yard tools, but then i have to leave the mower in the garage. I really don't have room in my yard for a typical large shed due to the 8 large trees we have planted, the hot tub and the fire pit (small yard).
The one thing that really bothers me is that I have a hodge podge of various cabinets and stuff in the garage that don't match. I really need to paint the walls and consider getting a matching set of cabinets and bench so it will look decent.
Thanks for the suggestions so far, that is getting the ideas flowing and giving me some motivation to start working on this.

for good input you need to specify what work areas you are looking for and what you have that will be going in there and what work you will do the most of as well as what equipment you will use the most.
so:
what tools
what storage
what work areas

You can figure it out. First get everything out of the garage that you don't want in there. Then make a list of what you want to store and what you want to do in the garage. Then figure out how much space everything takes up, such as drill press, work bench, tool boxes, etc. And include room to work around these things. Then plot those dimensions into your CAD program.

Once you get that data into your model then you can move the perimeters around until you find a comfortable combination. Make sure to allow for movement paths from the driven vehicles to the doors of your house.

Don't forget overhead storage. What I did was buy 4x8 sheets of plywood and cut them lengthwise creating 2'x8' sections. I used these as 2' deep shelving overhead all around my garage. These shelves can be walked under and they keep a ton of stuff off the floor.
