Garage layout question

Thinking of changing things around and looking for some input. I have a basement garage that is oddly shaped but full depth of the house and I don't hate the setup I have, but I'm curious if there is a more.functional layout I'm not considering.

Fulld depth is 60ft and at it's narrowest it 17ft and opens up 35ft in to about to 30 ft wide and the last 10 ft pinch back in and the space after 35ft has metal beams in the center.

Hopefully that discription makes sense with the attached photos. There is a toilet and utility sink. The empty spot in the back now has my 71 Camaro project in it. No flooring due to the planned work in that space.

Thanks for the feedback! Edited with better pics

Could you do a rough sketch of the layout? It’s tough to tell from your pictures what the shape actually is.

My thought would be to move the toolboxes and work area further back into the wider area of the garage, so that you could park 2 cars side by side at the roll up door. Then you can drive either without moving the other one. It’s narrow at that point, so I’d pull one in and back one in, with the driver’s doors inboard. Could also help when to have a lane for moving cars in and out of the back without moving all the cars outside.

Had a few haha . Tool box is kind of center of the space as it's on the corner wall. Drive way is perpendicular do the garage door and there is a parking pad outside it. Makes it easyto swing wide and back in. Also leaves enough space to pull the first one out and drive the second one past it. Which is why I corned them in. My doors are long on both cars so it's difficult to enter them when they are side by side, but I've thought about your suggestion of double parking by the door. There is enough wall space to do that now and not move the tables. Just tight wall to wall.

The low budget planning solution is graph paper, and scaled pieces of cardboard to represent your primary items. Look at where they are and visualize your typical work flows.

A scale drawing and scaled cutouts are a lot easier to shuffle than Tool Boxes, Workbenches, Welders, Drill Presses, Compressors and your Beer Frig.
I have learned this lesson after re-arranging furniture for for Mrs Nadogail.

Have you ever tried pulling one car in normally, and then backing the other car in so that both driver side doors are facing towards each other? That way you have room for both doors to open without having to waste all that space parking them at an angle.
