Garage Lift delimma

I was all set to build a new garage and install a four post lift, but apparent zoning issues have slowed that constuction. I currently have a Kwik Lift, but was looking forward to a four poster.

If I have to modify my current building, I will only have about an 11 foot ceiling. I'm wondering if I would be better off just resigning my self to life without a four post lift or live with the limitations of not being able to lift it to 12 feet.

I have 11' 3" and that 3" is all lights. It works perfect for my 4 post lift with a fastback on top of it. In fact I dont go all the way up when I need to work on it.

The car in your avatar looks a bit taller than the Mustang, but I would bet you would still love it. Also, if you garage door is big enough, you can roll that lift out onto a slab/apron to work on it.

Revise the trusses or add a dormer to allow space within the roofline
