Garage Lifts

Work has finally begun on my new (to me) Garage but before the cement for the floor is poured, I have a question regarding Lifts.
My preference is a Two-Post Lift but my garage is 3320mm wall-to-wall and the BendPak I wish to install is 3353mm wide. The only other Lift which will work for me is a Rotary Low-Lift but I prefer something which will go higher. Is it possible to safely shorten the width of the BendPak?

New Garage which used to be a Taco Resteraunt. New doors have been fitted.

The floor level has been lowered ca. 40cm to make it level with the sidewalk. New drains for the Restroom, Washing Machine and front floor section of the garage and electrical wiring have been added. It's still small but bigger and more practical than the other and I am downwind from my Wife so she can't complain about my noisy car.

that looks like an 8' ceiling. I don't think any Bendpak or Rotary would fit. You could try a Max Jack

Thank you for your response. I just went over and measured the ceiling and it is 4,1 Meters or about 13 Feet. Here, I cannot find a distributor for the Max Jack which narrows my choices. If I could safely shorten the width of a Two-Post BendPak by 50cm, my cars would be much easier to work on compared to the Rotary Mid-lift. The absolute maximum size car I would ever want to lift would be an Audi A6 but that is only a remote possiblity. Presently, the biggest car I or my friend would be working on is a Golf IV.

A scissor lift will solve all your issues, sink it into the floor and its out of sight till you need to use it.

i had about 7 or 8 months usage on one of these day to day in a dealership in holland, i quite liked using it, in the end i preferred it to using the 2 post lift we had, and i never liked using the 4 poster

Easy to modify the width. We can accomodate most special requirements fairly easy and we do have dealers in your area. Shoot us an email at [email protected]. Also, we can supply the MaxJax in the event it suits your space better. Nice garage re-do. A BendPak lift will make a nice final touch.
