Hello all! I'm looking for some advice. My garage is 24w x 28l, and currently has (2) LONG fixtures, these tube flourescents look 8' long. I haven't actually measured them, but they are quite long.
They look fairly old, so I'm not sure if replacing them with something newer and more efficient would be better financially, long-term? Also want to add to whats here, as it's not enough light. I'd like to spend no more than $100 to start off with, even if it means I need to do this in stages. I've seen some of the el-cheapo $20 hanging flourescents around at the big box stores, but are they efficient? I'd like to find a good balance between efficiency, and cost. Whats the best value out there when on a budget right now? I can't imagine LED strips being a good value, even if I DIY built them with LED's from China, lol.
