garage lighting and electrical outlets questions

so i just got a new house at the end of march. finally got things organized enough to begin working on a few things. i have a 19x21 ft space, with 12 ft ceilings. i do some car detailing and mechanical work for fun, or just mad enough to throw wrenches. i don't need as bright as the sun but i'd like to get some extra lights. right now there are two bulbs, which do a decent job. i would like to get some t8 fixtures. how many would i need? and how would you guys wire into the current wiring for the lights?

i also have a question about plugs. of course, they only put two plugs in the garage, excluding the plug for the garage door opener 12 ft up on the ceiling. it's in drywall or sheet rock so not in the plans to go externally. i've thought about exterior conduit for one or two extra plugs in convenient locations. how would one go about tying into existing wiring for that?

They make riser boxes that can be installed over your existing outlet. It raises it enough to exist conduit out the sides. Then you just run it to wherever you want your outlet and then to the next one.

I have a bunch of light because I am old...LOL

I used cloud or puff light lenses. How many you need is your choice. I have 72 T8's in my 30 x 40 shop.
