Round 3 of my garage lighting project completed last week.

R1 - The original setup (from the builder) included three 2 bulb 4' Flo fixtures that barely covered the space.

R2 - Converted to LED, three 4 bulb T8 5K fixtures and two 2 bulb T8 5k fixtures

R3 - six 4 bulb T8 5K fixtures and one 2 bulb T8 5K fixtures

We also added another 20A dedicated outlet for a compressor. My needs are light and looking at at 10g California Air auto drain model.

I detail cars part-time and was never pleased with the shadows and a couple dark corners. The current setup is borderline too bright but very functional for my needs. To minimize the drywall work, we didn't break up the circuit to two switches.

The garage measures 35' x 22.5' w/ 11' ceilings. Flooring is armorpoxy (primer, epoxy, upgraded clear). Cabinets are all Gladiator

These are the fixtures and bulbs if anyone is interested

He is a detailer! So 26 LED T8, probably equal to about 13 standard LED 4’ 5000L fixtures, in 800 very open SF. I am about to put 18 LED 4’ 5000L fixtures in 750 SF but have wired in 4 dimmers and my space is not as open.

Nice, yes it's very bright but not overpowering. The three newest fixtures are actually for 6 bulbs but I took the middle two ones out. It was a little too much for my needs.

The dimmers would be perfect. I really liked the looks of the linear high bays as those are dimmable but didn't want to replace everything

Looks good Remy. The daylight coming in the bottom of the cracked garage door hardly makes a dent in the brightness situation inside.

Th layout looks good. What color grey is that on the walls?
