Hi folks, has anyone installed LED lighting in the shop yet ? I'm using T8 2 tube fixtures at present & being as old as I am,thinking about led's . Just replaced a bunch in the house , both soft white & daylight . Gonna see if there's any diff in the bill !
The old chop saw I was trying to bring back to life was beyond help , so hoping to use the stand & related parts to fasten my circular saw & carbide blade .
I have a mitre saw for wood with 45 degree cuts but it's not useable for metal . Thanks. Budd

Update existing fixtures to 4ft LED retrofit lamps. Remove old fluorescent ballast. Rewire AC to lamp holders. Install LED retrofit lamps. See post #1 of the best light fixture thread for lamp recommendations. (link in sig below)

yes, it is quite common to have garage LED lighting with T8 size.

by using LED, it has no warm up time and incredibly long life span.
