First time poster, take it easy on me. :)

We are finishing up a carport to garage conversion project and have some wiring ran in the ceilings for lighting. The attached drawing is not perfect, but should give a good sense of the layout.

In the main garage area, pretty simple. Just parking of vehicles and will be used from time to time for car detailing. Vacuuming, waxing, etc.

The 11x12 area behind the 3rd stall is also nothing extravagant. Will just have some storage and workbench area for simple tasks.

So I am looking for help in picking out the right lighting for this area, both in terms of what housing to go with and bulbs.

I did see the MaxLite LSS2XT8USE4803 posted a bunch here, so I wondered if that is the defacto standard I should stick to.. If so, which bulbs/lumens should I be looking to put in there.

Thanks in advance and sorry for any naivete on my part.

Im just looking for suggestions on what type of housing and bulbs to go with. The placement is what it is and will be good enough for me.

See Post #1 in Best Light Fixture sticky (link in sig below) - assuming your ceiling is less than 11ft. Generally fixtures should be placed between vehicles. For parking, it's not critical. Detailing is a whole different ball game.
