New guy on the block. Building a new house and down to the electrical plan. I'm specifically looking at the garage and storage room to the left. House is a 3 story and garage on the ground level. The rear bay will have my workbench towards the front and cabinets across the back wall. The storage room to the left, right now it's just for storage and perhaps in time I'll put my workshop towards the front of the house. No real planned use currently as that area is not heated and cooled. I'm currently planning to put my work bench at the front of the rear bay and between the two doors leading to the hallway.

I absolutely want LED fixtures and I'm thinking in general terms 48" fixtures.
When the day is done, I just want adequate lighting. There's a definite budget so I don't need to go overboard. Just good solid fixtures that are time proven and work. Just not sure how to properly lay them out. If y'all would be so kind, I need a layout recommendation and fixture recommendations. And, suppliers ?

Below are the drawings of the area and some 3D CAD of the areas as well.
Ceiling height in these areas is 10'. The CAD images were generated from
Chief Architect.

I tried to upload the CAD file and got the old "invalid file type"... forum software doesn't appear to support it.

When my new house was being built about two years ago, I had too much going on to really think a lot about the garage lighting. So I ended up buying 4' LED double-tube shop lights from Lowes for about $50 each. I got 10 of them for my 3-car garage and had the electrician wire & install them before the garage had sheetrock. I also had him wire them on three separate switches so I could just concentrate the light on one bay at a time if desired. I've been in the house for a year and a half now and have already worked on my car a lot in the garage and the lighting is fantastic. No complaints whatsoever with the Lowes LED lighting. Time will tell how long they will last, but I'm not too worried about it. If any fail, I'll just replace them. At $50 a pop, it's not bad at all.

I've attached a picture of the garage with just the second and third bay lighting on to give you an idea of the lighting. This was a night shot, so no outside light coming in from the windows at all.

Bad *** garage, I'd like to see how you arranged and spaced your lighting etc so I can get an idea on spacing and positioning.
