Garage Lighting Recommendation Help

Moved in to our new construction home almost 8 months ago. I need more light in there while I'm restoring our car and would like recommendations on how to improve my lighting without re-wiring the garage. I'd like to use the two light bulb fixtures, screw in one of those things that let you use it as a plug in and get fluorecent fixtures plugged into there.

Anyone know what I would be able to use to maximize my lighting?

Aloha I have 7 2bulb 4 foot fixtures and 1 4 bulb 4 foot fixture all running off of 2 regular light fixtures in my garage . I used the adapters in each fixture and reinstalled the regular lightt bulbs back into the adapters then wired the 4 foot fixtures in series with S.O.cord .

I'd reco high output cold-start flo's, whatever you get. Otherwise I think you're on the right track (altho I'd probably remove the two screws, do away w the bulb fixture and hard wire the lights) and flo's are the most bang for the buck IMO

What he said. The wiring won't be much work.

Thanks all, I will seriously think of taking off the (2) screws that holds the fixture on and see what they have.
