Garage Lighting suggestions???

I'm in the process of building a 36X40 3 bay garage for my growing car collection. I want the option to add car lifts to double the capacity in the future should I lose my mind and buy more cars. What kind of lighting for the auto hobbyist should I buy? I am not a mechanic by any means and would probably only have the garage as storage, a place to hang memorabilia and hang out with my babies.
Suggestions?

Welcome to the site. My first suggestion would be to look around here a little bit, as this question is asked almost daily. ;) You'll probably find a lot of useful information in other discussions.

The general answer is usually to use 48" long T8 fluorescent fixtures, but the amount and arrangement will depend on your layout, ceiling height, wall and ceiling finishes (are they gloss white or flat black), and what things you want to do in there. As for styles, there are about a zillion different fluorescent brands and models, so choosing one comes down to personal taste and budget.
