Searched a little and not coming up with answer. What options do I have to cool my upstairs garage loft area? other than the end gables, the interior walls will be framed and I will basically have attic space on each side. I was thinking a window unit but it would be sitting in the :attic" portion of garage. I can only come up with traditional A/C or a mini split, both of which I dont really care for the price.Could I run the window unit with it "sitting in the attic air" and run a drain pan to outside? Any suggestions I`m open. Thanks David

Nope....unless you box the A/C unit in and run ducting for intake and exhaust. You want all the hot air to go outside and you want fresh air in from the outside. Someone here on the forums did just that.Window or mini-split is the way to go.
