Here is my garage.

We painstakingly dismantled a 120 year old barn on the same foot print, poured new radiant slab and reconstructed. Still not done...year 6 of the 5 year plan.

I love it!!! Welcome to the rabbit hole formally known as Garage Journal. Do you have more details of the process and what you've got now? I love what I've seen so far.

The pictures in the above post are what we considered as Phase I. Half of the structure. Here is Phase I framed.

Then we decided to do Phase II at the same time.

wow, so how much of the building is original?

Structurally, none. All new slab, framing, windows, roof...we saved the timberframe and all of the old barnboard. We reconstructed the timberframe inside the stick frame and have integrated the old barnboard here and there.

What was left over went into the tree house I am currently building for my son, which is another thread entirely.

Any tree house geeks in the group?

Nice any interior pics?

Yup.

These are from the original fit up. We integrated lots of the vintage lumber into the interior. These pics show the cabinet uppers, which are fixed. The lowers, other than the drafting table are castered and built from vintage materials as well (not shown here)
