Lift: http://www.ever-eternal.com/products/EE-6501.htm
I did not want to drive over the lift every time I enter the garage so I had it recessed in to the floor.

Tile: http://www.fastfloors.com/lp_15599,.../_/Cross-Colors-A-(UPS)-8-x-8/product.htm#NAV
8x8 tiles, mica with burgundy border.

Grout: http://www.garage-tile.com/productknowledge.htm
Jet black

Work shop area is Race Deck tile.

I have a few more things I would like to do like build a small storage on the out side wall to but the air compressor, lawn mower, ect. But that will be for another day.

Looks great! Like the tile look, do you need to do anything special or use a stronger tile to hold up to the weight of a vehicle?

The tile I used is a commercial grade porcelain, it has the color all the way through the tile. It will chip if you drop something heavey on it, but you have the option of just replacing a single tile.

The lift is a full rise lift, ~71".

Would like some more info on how you had the lift recessed in the floor please!!! I am going to be getting a lift down the road and would like to see if this would be feasable. If you like you can send me an e-mail to [email protected] .

Thanks in advance and your garage looks awsome!!! :rocker:

Here are some pics of the work in progress.

Floor is cut out , 8" footing poured for the lift pads and ready to pour the garage floor. Not in the pic but a 4" conduct is under ground for the Hydraulic lines run to the control unit.

Finished product, almost. At that time I had epoxy paint on the floor and after the lift was installed I decided to up grade to the tile floor. Note the 4" hole at the front of the floor cut out. This is where the hydraulic lines run under ground to the control unit.

I found out latter that the cut out where the hydraulic lines come out at was to small for the lines to coil up in so I had to made this opening about twice the size shown here.

Thanks for the info and additional pics!!! Is it just me, or is the lift awfully close to the left wall???? Almost looks like you could not get out of the car if you pulled it in nose first????

Also, did you do the labor yourself or did you have the company that supplied the lift do all of it??? I can't imagine myself out there with a concrete saw and sledge hammer!!! May I ask what that little upgrade cost????

Who makes your lift by the way??? Thanks and sorry for all of the questions, but I'm really impressed with your set up and would like to duplicate it if I can afford to.

It is just the angle of the picture. The pads are centered in front of the garage door, so when I drive in the tires will be on center with the pads.

I had all the concrete work done for me. They had a bob cat dig out the old concrete. I set the pads in my self with a engine hoist. The concrete work was ~ 4K.

That is one beautiful, well-thought-out toy box. Any pics of the exterior and the toys?

Holy cow. What a car.

I liked the epoxy better (just my personal taste)- what made you decide to go with tile instead? Was the epoxy too slick, or were you having trouble keeping it nice with weld spatter or grinding sparks?

Yikes on all counts, nice job! I've always liked the NSX too, after driving one when they first came out. They seem like awesome track cars, must be thrilling with a couple hundred extra HP...
