Nice job. Not sure if I have ever seen a corrugated metal ceiling like that. Are you happy with it? Looks like you replaced the car door, too?

The whole deal started with a new garage door. When they remounted the rails to the ceiling, they left big holes in the drywall. The ceiling idea came from google and bing "Images" and also Houzz.com. When searching on those sites, you can get great ideas. I like the retro industrial look. Very easy to justify in my mind: no painting ever, will never fall down, looks way cooler than drywall, no tape or mud to crack or peel and I think easier to install..... Plus if look real hard at the cost, I think- worst case it was a wash (I give advantage to the steel ).

Thanks- the ceiling leaves my neighbors in awe.
What goes in it you ask ?

This is the beginning to a long term project.
1. Bought Wife new ride 2 years ago -she still loves it and me - CHECK
2. Kitchen makeover - Wife loves it.... CHECK
3. Make garage look nice- pleases me and wife, nice place to park her new ride. CHECK
4. Kill her with kindness until she can't say no to the manual shift Mustang GT I will buy in next year or two. (She is good with car purchase- but we disagreed on manual or automatic). HA !!!!

APS63: the plans for your garage look good. I like the layout a lot. The '70 Camaro project is a nice one. you did well with the interior and motor looks clean and very well done. More ambitious than me. I owned a '69 Mach 1 for a couple of years in the mid 70's untill the needs of the car outweighed my checkbook and skill level. I've since then had a 08- Mustang GT and a '12 Mustang GT that was by far the nicest I ever driven. Black with brown leather , 5.0L, 6 speed and 100% awesome. As you can tell- I lean to Ford (worked there for 17 years now - so buy what I build)

Sounds like a great plan for your new ride.
We are actually starting to redo my wife's 1990 Mustang GT. It was her first car and she wants to upgrade it to 2014 technology. Should be a fun project.
I've had Chevy's, Ford's, Mopar's, I love them all, as long as they are fast.
