Hi all,

Anyone use one of these mats? Reviews? Or something similar? I'm looking for a containment mat for winter so I don't have tons of snowmelt all over my epoxied floor. I have sharks grip and a generous coating of flakes... its still slippery when wet.

Here is another one but almost twice as expensive:

Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. I want something on my floor to absorb snow and rain; but everything is pretty expensive. I've been thinking about purchasing a commercial carpet, with a rubber backing. That should absorb well, and then I can powerwash it come spring time... hmmm

Carpet scraps from the curb side.
Roll them up and trash them when they get too dirty.

Stay away from the plastic tarp type they will fill full of holes from the rocks and sand you pick up from the mudded roads

mine lasted one winter no warranty, they recommend using duct tape to repair
your better off using the carpet idea

Good to know. I'm in Calgary and have a gravel back lane so would be bringing quite a bit of gravel into the garage me thinks and probably destroying the mat like you said.

Thanks for the reply guys. I'm now thinking either the carpet way or even the rubber garage mat that Costco sells. Any opinions on those?

Thanks.
