Any suggestions for cheap black mats to park a lawn mower on? Size 9' x 12' would be perfect. No color or patterns needed. Thanks,

Vinyl flooring / linoleum remnant at Menard's or Home Depot? Not black, but cheap enough to replace every couple of years when it starts to rip.

Just go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a section of indoor/outdoor carpet. You can usually get it in black or dark grey and its CHEAP. Couple bucks a foot x 8 or 12 feet wide.

I've been looking for those mats that go under an entire car - so mud and snow and slush can be contained in the garage. Seen those?

My Wal-Mart sells a single car mat. Carpet/felt material on top and bubber base. Feels kind of thin and not too cheap, ~$120. Worth looking at.

My Sams Club sells a different single car type mat too. All hard rubber.

Menards also has the rubber car mats (if you have a Menards around you) IIRC they are 7 1/2' x 22', and sell for something like $125 roughly.

One option is to buy a rubber truck bed liner and then just cut it to fit. If you have an old one from a truck you no longer own this would be a good use for it. Obviously you aren't going to find out that is 9' x 12' but it should be big enough for a lawn mower.

I just use old carpet scraps.
Trash them when they get dirty.
That includes under the cars in the winter to soak up the messy stuff.
Depending on the winter, I may use two a winter.

Hey e-tek - Canadian Tire carries G-Floor products now. They have the 7.5' x 17' ribbed rolled flooring. Here's the link - http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brow...Floor+Cover+and+Protector%2C+7.5+x+17-ft..jsp

I got one on sale for about $130ish. Works well - channels the wet stuff. If you google G-Floor you'll find other Canadian distributors - they have other sizes, thicknesses and patterns available. CTC only seems to carry the one size/one pattern/one thickness.
