Hello! Long-time lurker, first-time poster!

Wanted to share with you guys the photos I remembered to take of my 30' x 44' Pole Building. It's taken longer than it should've but it's really close to the end now.

Little backstory:
Tons of delays with builder, getting him to come back and finish was trying to say the least. Always told "they'll be there tomorrow" and they never showed. Seemed like the company got big/busy really fast and it was too much for them to handle. Then to top it all off we got shut down by our HoA :argue:, even though we had received prior approval. After about a month and a half of back and forth and me keeping my rage in check, we got approval. Then wait for the builder to put us back on the list haha.

Still needed to complete:
driveway/stone
more dirt infill/grading
insulation
interiors walls
build the wife's work space/office

Left to install: (that we have)
Big *** Fan! (so pumped about this)
1-ton ductless Heat Pump
Base and upper cabinets

Feel free to ask questions, I'll tell what I can remember!

The office space is going in the front corner where the french doors are. The wife is a traveling saleswoman so she needs a space for her stuff and now that we had a baby, that room turned into a nursery. We do some lite woodworking (amateur) and general storage, parties, vehicle maintenance, etc etc. Nothing special haha

Looks nice. Are you doing the interior as you have time?

Were they working when we had the 1-2 weeks of high winds late February-early March? Neighbor was having a tear off and new shingles installed and the crews were hesitating about starting each day due to the winds on the two story house.

Yep, unfortunately those are the items you don't think about when budgeting haha.
I'm guessing that was when the HoA had us by the short hairs. Stressful as the building was framed and sitting and we were having our first child at the same time :shocking:

Looks nice.
Thanks!

Looking great already man, nice!
Thank you!

What are you guys using for insulation and interior walls? I've seen the threads about using the 6" thick R-19 which I like but I didn't konw if there was anything more efficient $-wise. I'm going to lookin into using T1-11 for the walls since it should be cheapre than drywall or plywood. I'm open to hearing your thoughts.

WOW. This is the best looking metal sided pole barn I have ever seen. Your choices on the stone, colors, windows, enclosed overhang and soffits, etc, all pulled this together to make it look very upscale residential in the best ways. If you can't tell I don't like metal siding or pole barns all that much. Yours is an outstanding exception.

Great clean work. Keep the photos coming!

I heard if you want to post from imgur using IMG tags, you remove the S from the HTTPS in the beginning. I gave up on imgur on GJ before I learned that an host elsewhere, but I wanted to let you know in case it works.

Thanks RougeFab, I appreciate the compliment. My Wife is very good at making things come together like this and look nice.

I'm hoping to get the 10' diameter BIG *** FAN up soon!
