I'm having a problem with my Garage Keypad opener.

It opens/closes the door if you hit the ENTER key or sometimes Any Key.

Anyone had this happen?
Can you reset it? or do I need to replace it?

Looks like this one. Liftmaster

Do you mean that it will open if you hit Enter or "any key" without actually entering the code? Have you looked up the instructions on their website? I just recently setup the same keypad and it works just fine.

I have more questions than answers.
If the door hasn't been opened, you can hit any button and have it open ? Or does this only happen after you use the key pad to close the door.

You can use the key pad by pressing enter to close the door or all doors that are coded to the opener. If the door has just closed you can hit enter and reopen the door.

More info is needed.

I had a similar opener at my last place. It had a feature that would let me press any key to open it again for about 30 seconds after closing. I suppose it's meant for those times that you remember you forgot something, just as the door closes. But if yours opens the door after the keypad hasn't been touched in a long time, then it is broken. :( Doing a hard reset might fix it, but I'd be surprised if it does.

How do you know the keypad is defective? Why couldn't it be the circuit board in the opener that is defective?

I took it to mean that the unit itself is broken - around here anyways that unit can be called a "keypad" even though technically it is a keypad + circuit board + batteries + case etc

...or do you mean the unit that opens the door ... good point... gets confusing..

I meant the circuit board that is mounted to the actual garage door opener, the thing with a motor that lifts the door. I am sorry if I wasn't clear on that, I see now that what I said was a bit confusing, even to me. Sorry about that.

Not at all ! Thanks for clarifying that and you have a very good point. Recently we had a huge electrical storm and a few things got fried. The garage door opener ( motor etc to lift the door ) still worked just fine but the connections on the circuit board on this same unit for a simple SPST switch no longer worked ie the circuit board totally worked except for this part of the circuit.
