Might depend on if it's a pro deal or a home gamer - like myself.
I came across this video trying to figure out a cheap but good way to hang stuff on my garage walls. I've made hangers for screw drivers, measuring tapes, furniture clamps, display tools (just for looking at antiques), I've even made some custom hangers for some guitars I built in high shool.

The method is simple, easy and cheap AF. You can use stiffer wire to heavier things. If you mess it up, throw it out and start over because it's cheap.

I do a lot of metal fabrication and wood working in my garage. Not at the same time of course. But, both activities generate lots of dust. That said, I like all of my stuff in cabinets to keep dust off of it. I have found you can pick up lateral filing cabinets pretty cheap these days. Lots of businesses are digitizing their records, so lots of lateral filing cabinets are up for sale cheap. I got 5 of them for $10 each when the local college digitized all of their old records.

A couple months ago I managed to get most **** off the floor & somewhat logically located.

I used many nails on studs to hang just about anything (15 years ago)

Looks really clean and organized. I will say I have never seen an area rug in a garage but pretty cool.

That's a great idea and one hell of a deal.

What’s this tri pod thing in the corner?

looks like it could be a chute for aluminum cans after they get crushed…

A can crusher surely. Re-purposing my old shovelhead pistons and the old cutting board. It pukes the squashed cans out of a slot, on the underside of the PVC pipe, right into the bucket.

I have built most of my major storage from dimensional lumber. Fit in a few mfr'ed shelving units and old kitchen cabinets to round it out - but even those are limiting and get shuffled out as i come up with something better.

Post #3 shows a cantilever style I employ also. Usually room for a deeper shelf higher up the wall. Keep the floor clear for heavier goods - preferably on wheels.

As they like to say here, no pictures, no bueno! I tweaked it a little.

My favorite thing, keeps out the clutter and leaves

Leaves in my shop make my blood boil, it keeps me up at night and doesn't matter if the rest of the shop is clean or dirty.
I see you just joined a few days ago, welcome! I checked out your website but otherwise, not much for reviews. You should get someone on GJ to give a solid review. I'd be happy to volunteer but I don't post much and don't have any following.
*cough and change your email address...*cough

I had a late breakfast at a little town cafe this morning that had the entire ceiling completely filled with ball caps. I bet every single one of us here on GJ has never seen this many caps on display until this. My photo only shows half of the ceiling.

That looks more like my collection... I also have more than 9.
