Looks great now for my question what is the significance of the stripe colors I see those same stripes in alot of Porsche garages.

Can I ask.. what length are the lights? 6 ft. two tube?

I am about to install new lights in my almost finsihed new garage and struggling with Lights issue.. have not found much on the site here with that topic? unless I am searching wrong term.

Thanks
Mike

just standard 4 foot.

they're the $9 shop lights from HD. $4/pr for the bulbs. at that price you can fill a shop with lights (garage is 24x24-ish). i'm installing 6 more lights above where the garage doors roll up.

i'm currently trying to figure out how i want to install some conduit for the wiring so all the light cords aren't just zip-tied together and plugged into a power strip...

Are these the models that normally hang from chains? How did you attach them?

Just add some washers between the sheetrock and fixture or between the fixture and the ballasts if you're concerned with heat.
