I feel your pain. Have 24X20 garage, a car, 2 bikes and usually 1 project at a time. Lately I get in the mood to work on the Triumph project, go in the garage and spens an hour moving wifes **** out of the way, get pissed off and leave. I have not gotten anything done in 6 months. May have to sell the car and 1 bike to get some room but the market ***** right now.

That would have me locking up the garage and telling them if they want to use it they will use it my way or not at all.

I have laid down the law in my house if you come out here to get a tool it had better be returned to where it came from in the condition you found it in or the boxes get locked and you dont get to use my tools .

I am very close to taking those steps. Those were the rules in my Dads shop and still are to this day. I remember my older brother being ban from being in there without my Dads presence.

I find that my hoard is/was slowing me down....I scraped a truck project this summer that was taking up space in my shop. Room to try to make extra money with my tools is becoming more important then car parts. The really sad thing is between work and kids,I don't have time to turn the lights on out there any more.

Nighttrain, I like the idea of two "to do lists".....A quick-hitter project list is something I'm going to start using.
