This corner of the garage has the 60 amp mini panel for the garage, a phone jack, direct TV jack, and speaker wires.

I picked up my Sherwin Williams Epoxy kits(Armor Seal) this morning as well as the muraitic acid for etching which I will be tackling this weekend.

Here are a couple pics of my powerwashing the garage before I acid etch the floor

How did you go about picking the Armor Seal for the floor? I've been looking at it too and will likely use the Mortar color with some colors chips from Chips Unlimited

After the chips go down and everything dries for a day, I'm using the Armor Seal clear over everything. Let me know if you have any tips after you're finished. I have about 550 sq ft that has an epoxy on it already and another 300 sq ft of new concrete that we added last fall. I think I'm going to rent one of those big floor scrubers and use a sanding pad on the old epoxy and to level the seam where the old floor meets the new concrete.

Are you planning on putting down two coats of color???? Everyone that I've talked to said that it looks a lot better with two coats, especially if you've acid etched the concrete.

Yes, I'm going with two coats with the first being thinned out a bit with reducer with a 1 pint/gallon ratio.

I will acid etch the slab and power wash it twice before applying the epoxy. I choose the Armor Seal by process of elimination. I haven't come across too many complaints about the stuff especially when done to a virgin floor.

I'm not a big fan of the flakes so I've opted not to take that route. I'm also thinkin that it one less thing to go wrong with the covering.
