I haven't updated pics here in a couple months due to me dropping my digital camera and watching it shatter in front of my on the garage floor

Needless to say...I scored a new one for Christmas.

There are about 550 beers cans that I hung-up which I have been hanging onto to for about 25 years. I just never had a place to display them before the gargae was built.

That's pretty cool. I can only imagine the conversations you've had about their storage and when/if they'd ever be displayed. I know my spousal unit would have had more than one fit.

Great job Chuck. What motivated you to collect cans?

It was just something that me and most of my close friends did back in the late 70's/early 80's(back when I was 14-16 years old)

Yeah, the Kerosene heater works well. It takes about an hour to raise the temperature about 10 degrees in my 28x28x11 area. It is only about 2-3 years old and I picked it up at a tag sale for $5. One thing I learned quickly is that the fumes are not noticable until you turn the unit off. So what I do is carry it outside and shut it off.

I took some close up of the cans...........let me go post a couple of them.

Great job Chuck! I too hope to display my old can collection when I get my second garage done.

What is that you have them displayed in?

looks good chuck.. i used to have several hundred also.. but after several moves after my marriage... i am down to less than a hundred.. most of which are from my overseas travel and a few from the same time period as yours.. i had hoped to have a basement with a bar to display them.. but since i have no basement after this last move.. i might look into putting them into the garage.. since i just got my kegorator setup... mmmm.. give me something to do when i return from iraq here shortly.. right now.. all my tools and valuable "stuff".. is just piled in the garage.. since the misses had to move us without me being there...

Just curious?

Nice wall art though I'm curious....Are those beer cans full?

'nother question... have you taste tested them all?

Jeepgod... do they have local beer where you are at?

also...we're all proud of what you guys are doing over there...stay safe and come home soon!

All the cans are empty and some in my collection go back to the late 30's. 1935 saw the first beer can mfg. by Kruger

I've only drank a few of the cans that are up in the collection. most of the cans are at least 20 years old and on up to 60 years old.

Do a search for wall paper border on the internet. Then once you enter any number of sites out there that sell it, look under the "sports" or "auto" themed borders.

Very Cool Chuck! I collected as well when I was a teen. They got flooded while in storage. Rustola. Pity too I had quite a few of the German gallon sized cans. Those were always my fave.
Good looking collection Chuck and good to see how far you've come. Any plans for future projects? Tahnks for the Pics.
