I would like to share pictures of my new toy garage with the forum, but I am unsure how to do so. When I click manage attachments it tells me that the maximum size of a jpeg image is 146.5. Most of the images that I have range from 250 to 600. I have tried photo bucket, but unsure how to get images from photo bucket to site.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just did this myself not more that an hour ago to post some pics here. I just used microsoft office picture manager to resize the pics to the required size, saved them and download to this site. worked great.

to post a big picture like to this one i clicked on post reply or reply to thread and a screen comes up with fonts and sizes and a bunch of other boxes up there. But first go to photo bucket and put your pictures there then you can click on the picture you want to put here and click on the box on the top with a picture of a mountain and a small circle in the upper right hand corner. with your mouse over it insert picture will appear. sos click then right click it and post you picture from photo bucket and it will show up big here. if that doesnt work e mail me at [email protected] and i will get you better instructions. like he said. photobucket. i should have read all the post porperly before i said anything. lol.
But once you upload to photobucket, all you need to to is click on the img code that comes up when you hover over the picture in photobucket. It should automatically copy the code. then just paste (ctrl + V, or right click paste) into the window you are typing in.
and blamo your done.

You actually don't need Photobucket (I hate using those online "services", so I'm a bit prejudiced)

You can upload pics here, easily, but they do have to be resized - I use a free program called Irfanview which is super easy to resize with (after all, I can do it!) and I use 600X800, that size uploads easily and still has plenty of detail.

What you do is go to the User CP tab above, scroll down to pictures and albums and upload your pics there. The site allows you to have 1000 pics IIRC. Then when you want to post simply link using the little pic square tab in the post message box and post the address of the pic from your albums. To do that, once you've uploaded a pic to your ablum here, right click on the pic, click properties, copy the url address and paste it in the dialog box that opens when you click that little pic icon above. Click OK and there you go...

Here is a pic from my album of my old Jag to show how big a 600X800 pic is and what detail is there....the only real practical difference between using Photobucket and storing them here is the url address, the method is the same. But you don't need a Photobucket account....you simply upload them from your computer to here.
