Can anyone suggest a good source for garage plans, preferably in a cad format, so that one could make a few changes and have something suitable for a building permit and bids?
Thanks guys.

I got mine from an outfit in Oregon. They supplied the plans (paper) and a building supplies list. They worked with me in tweaking it a bit, but I believe you can order the CAD plans on a CD if I remember correctly. I like working with them and they were not that expensive.

All of the plans at http://www.my-garage-plans.com are available in CAD format. Just remember that you have to have the CAD software (which is usually very expensive) to make any changes to them. You can usually get a reproducible version of the plans a little cheaper and make the changes right on the drawings without having any software.
