Garage plumbing question

Purchasing a rental property with an large attached garage with running water. Got a water supply plumbing question. In the attached pictures are some questionable T-connectors I don’t see used very often. I think it’s best to replace with soldered joints or compressed fitting. What does the GJ think of these plastic T-connectors? Owner says they have been there for over 20 years with no issue.

2. I am no longer using solder joint on water heater replacements in my rentals, I have started to use SharkBite fittings. They go in faster, have not leaked since I tried the first one some 18 years ago. I seldom use a torch while plumbing, my insurance company appreciates the absence of the flames.

I do not know what the gray t-fitting is but if this line is for non-potable water and it's supposedly not been a problem for 20 years then I'd leave it alone.

If it's for potable water then I cannot help you.

Qest/qicktight fitting, wouldn't be my first choice but at the time it was done sharkbites probably weren't that common.

You got the name of the product: Qest / polybutylene fittings. Remember those from back in the day.
