Hey everyone, not new to the site but this is only my 2nd post in 10 years I have been on here lol. Anyways, we are going to be moving back to a house we rented a couple of years ago after selling this one and buying it. It has a 35x35 cinder block shop and I will be lifting the roof up to extend the inside ceiling height which if I remember correctly is around 8'. Im wanting to raise it maybe to 12' and will be doing this by adding in 2x8 wood frame on top of the blocks once its raised.
So, the question is what would be the best way to lift the roof?
The other thing I am going to do is finish the inside walls. I want to insulate it most likely using insofast and then covering that with something but cant decide what with.
So, the question is, has anyone used that and what did you cover it with?
Thanks in advance
Mike
